Viewing territories by rule type on the map

On the map, you can now identify territories by the specific rule type that they are defined by.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Territory view.

  3. On the battle card canvas, select a battle card.

  4. In the data tray, click the Territory definition tab.

  5. Switch the toggle from View grid to View map to open the map view.

  6. At the top of the territory grid, click the Screenshot_2024-09-02_at_1_10_17_PM.png icon beside Geographies map.

  7. On the Rule visualization dialogue, select from the following options:

    • Geography OR account overrides rules (Default) - this will show territories with rules based on the Geographies hierarchy and any account override rules (this is the default view).

    • Geography AND [hierarchy] OR account overrides - this will show territories with rules based on the Geographies hierarchy and any account overrides, as well as any rules based on custom hierarchies. In this view, you can also isolate a single territory to see only geographic regions and accounts for that territory. See, Isolate a territory to view its pinned accounts.

      Note

      You may not be able to perform some actions when this option is selected.

  8. Click Visualize.

  1. At the top of the territory grid, click the Screenshot_2024-09-02_at_1_10_17_PM.png icon beside Geographies map.

  2. On the Rule visualization dialogue, select Geography AND [hierarchy] OR account overrides .

  3. Select a Hierarchy from the dropdown. This will allow you to see those territories that rules based on a custom hierarchy.

  4. Click Visualize.

  5. On the map page, select a territory from the territory grid to isolate it. This shows account pins and geographic regions for the selected territory only.
