Deleting territories using the map
You can delete your geographic territories from the map.
On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.
Click the Territory view.
On the battle card canvas, select the battle card that contains territories you want to delete from the map.
In the data tray, click the Territory definition tab.
Switch the toggle from View grid to View map to open the map view.
Click Territory on the top-left corner of the map.
This lets you select your existing territories.
Use your preferred selection tool to select territories on the map:
Icon
Tool name
Select territories
Clear selections
Pointer
Click the pointer icon.
Click a territory to select it.
Repeat step 2 to select as many territories as required.
There are three ways to clear your selections:
Click the selected territory again to clear that selection.
Click Clear selection on the Insights card.
Press escape on your keyboard to clear all selections.
Lasso
Click the lasso icon.
Click the Add to selection icon .
Draw a polygon on the map through the territories you want to select (click on the map to start drawing and click again to change direction).
When you're ready to close your polygon, hover your mouse over a corner where your lines intersect, and then click to close the shape.
All territories within or touching your polygon shape are selected.
There are three ways to clear your selections:
Click the Remove from selection icon , and then draw a polygon through your selected territories to clear the selection.
Click Clear selection on the Insights card.
Press escape on your keyboard to clear all selections.
Do one of the following:
Right-click on the map, and click Delete territory.
Click the Delete territory option on the top right corner of the map.
On the confirmation dialog, click Delete.
