Managing account-territory alignments using file upload
You can manage how your customer accounts and territories are aligned using the Upload account territory alignment option in Manage. This is especially helpful if you are adding new accounts mid-year and need to align them to a territory or you need to move multiple accounts between existing territories. The file upload option allows you create net new account territory alignments meaning that you are able to align any new customer accounts that you added mid-year to desired territories. The file also lets you move existing account-territory alignments between territories in bulk.
Note
If you are aligning new accounts, complete the steps for uploading customer accounts. See Importing hierarchy files to the Customer Accounts hierarchy.
Once your file upload for your customer accounts completes, click the Territory alignment option on the success page. Alternately, you can click the Upload account territory alignment option
on the battle card canvas.
The following are columns that you can include in your file:`
