View sources

The View sources section of the Integrations page contains a list of all the data you've imported into Varicent Sales Planning using the Integrations tools.

From here you can view your data, as well as details and statistics about your data. You can also delete data that is no longer needed.

Viewing data sources

From the View sources tab, you can view the data sources that you've imported into Varicent Sales Planning. You can click a data source to view your data, as well as statistics and details about your data.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Command center icon Screen_Shot_2021-10-04_at_5_40_21_PM.png.

  3. Under the Admin section, click Integrations.

  4. Click the View sources tab.

  5. Click anywhere on a data source row to view the data, or click View data at the end of the row.

  6. View your data:

    • Click the Data tab to view your data in a table.

    • Click the Stats tab to view statistics about your data.

    • Click Full details to view analytics and additional information about your data. Click X to close the Full details page.

  7. When you're done, click the back icon arrow--left.svg to return to the View sources page.

Viewing data source columns

You can view the list of column names included in your data source.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Command center icon Screen_Shot_2021-10-04_at_5_40_21_PM.png.

  3. Under the Admin section, click Integrations.

  4. Click the View sources tab.

  5. Click the more options menu options.png at the end of the data source row and then click View columns.

    A list of column names and their formats appears.

  6. When you're done, click the back icon arrow--left.svg to return to the View sources page.

Viewing malformed rows

If there are any import errors in your data, they will appear as malformed rows. You can view these errors from the View sources tab.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Command center icon Screen_Shot_2021-10-04_at_5_40_21_PM.png.

  3. Under the Admin section, click Integrations.

  4. Click the View sources tab.

  5. Click the more options menu options.png at the end of the data source row and then click View malformed rows.

    Your data table populates to show only rows with errors. If your data contains no import errors, no rows display.

  6. When you're done, click the back icon arrow--left.svg to return to the View sources page.

Deleting data sources

You can delete data sources that you no longer need. You have the option to delete data sources one at a time or in bulk.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Command center icon Screen_Shot_2021-10-04_at_5_40_21_PM.png.

  3. Under the Admin section, click Integrations.

  4. Click the View sources tab.

  5. Do one of the following:

    • To delete one data source, click the more options menu options.png at the end of the data source row, and then click Delete data.

    • To delete multiple data sources, select the check boxes at the start of the data source rows you want to delete, and then click Delete datasets on the bottom toolbar.

  6. On the confirmation dialog, click Delete.
