Command center

The Command center menu contains tools that you can use to customize and build out your planning cycle. From this menu, you can manage administrative tasks like uploading users and participants and managing data. You can also customize your planning cycle by adding quota components and currencies, and you can upload and manage your hierarchy data.

The following tabs are available from the Command center menu:

  • User management - this is where you can import and delete users. The list of all your sellers is found here. You can invite users such as sales managers to collaborate and provide input into quota or territory planning.

  • Data - this is where you can import data about your historical transactions, future pipeline opportunities, and other metrics that you need to plan your territories and quotas.

  • Integration - this is where you can provide credentials to integrate Symon.AI with Varicent Sales Planning. Once you've set up your integration, you can import data directly from Symon.AI.

  • Currencies - this is where you identify your default reporting currency. You can also add multiple local currencies to see or convert the exchange rate values against your reporting currency.

  • Quota components - this is where you can add quota components to your planning cycle. Quota components are used to define distinct quotas and account scores for the different areas of your business. Examples include hardware, software, and services.

  • Hierarchies - this is where you can upload your hierarchy data. Hierarchies are used to plan territories. They are also used to define and divide up your teams, and set up and customize territories. You can segment the hierarchies based on your specific needs such as by customer accounts, industries, products, geographies, or any other custom hierarchy. Customer accounts and Geographies come as out-of-the-box hierarchies in Varicent Sales Planning.
