Seller assignments

The seller assignments feature in Varicent Sales Planning lets you assign sellers or teams of sellers to your territories. If you assign multiple sellers, you can define an ownership percent for each. This lets you assign varying levels of responsibility to your sellers. For example, a more experienced seller may own 60% of the territory while a more junior seller may own the remaining 40%. Two equally experienced sellers may split a territory equally at 50% each.

While your territories remain generally consistent throughout the duration of your planning cycle, your sellers may come and go. Varicent Sales Planning lets you account for seller turnover, new hires, and temporary leaves, by allowing you to set effective start and end dates for your sellers. This way you can easily manage your seller assignments throughout the planning cycle and quickly adjust for changes in personnel.
