Import errors

The Import errors section lists file import errors. You can use this section to troubleshoot any issues importing data into Varicent Sales Planning. It lists your all files that failed to import in a table and includes a description of the import error. With this information, you can modify your file and attempt the import again.

Viewing import error details

You can click into an import error in the table to view additional information about the error.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Command center icon .

  3. Under the Admin section, click Data.

  4. Click the Import errors tab.

  5. Click anywhere in the row to open the import error details for that file, or click the more options menu options.png at the end of the row and click View details.

  6. Review the details.

  7. If needed, click Copy to clipboard to copy the error message to your clipboard.

Copying an import error message to your clipboard

You have the option to copy an import error message to your clipboard. This lets you paste the message into another application or easily send it to a colleague or support for troubleshooting.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Command center icon .

  3. Under the Admin section, click Data.

  4. Click the Import errors tab.

  5. Click the more options menu options.png at the end of the file row and click Copy summary.
