Adding comments about territory planning

You can add comments about territory planning. Depending on how contributor permissions are set up, contributors may be able to view territory maps, seller assignments, territory definitions, and territory balancing for the territories that they own. They may be able to edit seller assignments and territory balancing. Using this tool, administrators and contributors can collaborate on territory planning.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Territory view.

  3. Click one of the following:

    • Administrators - click Plan territories on the battle card that contains the territories you want to comment on.

    • Contributors - click View territories on the battle card that you own, or that contains territory group types, territory groups or territories that you own.

      Note

      Contributors can only view territories that they own. If they don't own any territories within a battle card, it is greyed out and there is no option to expand it.

  4. Click the Comments icon notebook.svg.

  5. Click the Add comment icon add-comment.svg.

  6. Type your comment into the text box, and then click Comment.
