Adding seller assignments

You can assign a seller or a team of sellers to your territory. You can define the ownership percent for each seller to allocate varying levels of responsibility and you can define seller effective dates to account for changes within your sales team.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Territory view.

  3. On the battle card canvas, select a battle card.

  4. In the data tray, click the Seller assignment tab.

  5. In the Seller column, click the Add seller icon add--alt.png in the territory row where you want to assign a seller.

  6. Select a seller from the drop-down menu.

    Tip

    Use the search bar to filter the list of sellers.

  7. Double-click anywhere in the territory row to edit.

  8. Enter an ownership percent for your seller.

  9. Select a start and end date for when this seller assignment is effective.

    For example, you can set a date in the future for a new hire that hasn't started yet. If you don't select effective dates, we use the start and end date of you planning cycle by default.

  10. Click anywhere outside of the territory row to exit edit mode and save your changes.

  11. If you've added more than one seller assignment to a territory, click the expand icon chevron--right.png at the start of the territory row to view all assignments for that territory.

    Note

    If you have multiple sellers with overlapping effective dates, the ownership percent should add up to 100%.
