Get more precise when moving your account quota in Manage

You can get even more precise with your quota adjustments when scheduling account moves in the Manage version. If you have multiple hierarchies selected for quota breakdown (quota below territories) enabled in your battle card, you'll see this breakdown of quotas at the hierarchy level for up to two hierarchies on the Account quota grid. For example, if your quota breakdown is by Customer accounts and Industry, you'll see columns with information relating to both the hierarchies. Specifically, what's new are the column headers relating to the secondary hierarchy. So for the example scenario above, the new column headers you see would be Industry and Industry key. The Account quota column will show quota values that are aligned with both the hierarchies. Subsequently, when you move your accounts, you have a clearer picture and more granular level data to help in your decision making.

We have also implemented the new columns related to the secondary hierarchy in the Revised territory drill in view on the Territory quota grid as well.

To give you the full benefits of this functionality, we’ve also enhanced other related features in the user interface.

  • Filter and sort options for Revised territory quota drill down now include parameters to apply for the secondary hierarchy.

  • We have additional column options available within the Manage | Quotas Below Territories | BC | QC data set to accommodate the secondary hierarchy when you export this data set. The new columns are rootHierarchyKey2 and hierarchyKey2.

Align your new customer accounts with existing territories in Manage

In the Manage version of your plan, you can now align new customer accounts with an existing territory when uploading your Customer Accounts hierarchy file. We have included a new file upload option within the Customer Accounts hierarchy upload page. You can use the Territory alignment option to upload a territory alignment file that includes the specific columns to align the account to an existing territory. Using the effective date columns, you can also define the particular period during which the account aligns with the territory.

New date fields for your Customer Accounts hierarchy and custom hierarchies

When you upload your Customer Accounts hierarchy and other custom hierarchies, you can now include the date fields EffectiveDate and EndDate.

The fields Effective Date and End Date are also available when you manually go in to edit your hierarchies.

Exports files for Customer accounts hierarchy and other custom hierarchies now also include the columns EffectiveDate and EndDate.

Additionally, you can also assign 'Date' as a value type to the attribute column of a Customer accounts hierarchy or any custom Hierarchy.

Enhanced account pin selection capability

You can now see a list of customer accounts that share a singular location, select individual account pins, and reassign them to different territories. Clicking on a cluster will allow you to zoom in and break the cluster into individual pins. If a cluster remains, it indicates multiple accounts at the exact location—clicking it will open a list for easy selection and reassignment.

Updated filter behavior in Account Quota grid

We have slightly changed the behavior of the filter option available in the Account quota grid in Manage. Now, you'll need to make sure that you have values in all the parameters before you can hit Apply and run the filters.
