User files
Your user file contains information about the various users in your organization, such as sales leaders, sales managers, sales analysts, and operations managers.
Note
User files are shared across all planning cycles in the tenant. You must create at least one planning cycle before you can add users.
After you've imported your users into Varicent Sales Planning, you can assign them as owners on battle cards, territory groups, and territories. These seller assignments are used when an admin starts a territory or quota planning workflow for the planning cycle. Any user that has been invited to be a contributor will be able to view their assigned territories and suggest changes for the duration of the workflow.
Formatting user files
Before you get started creating your user files, make sure you fully understand the file requirements. See Best practices for formatting your data.
