Managing territories

You can create and manage territories directly within the Manage version of your plan, similar to the Plan mode. You can add a unique territory ID, name, assign to a territory group and effective dates within the effective range of the territory group. Once a territory is created, you can assign sellers, and you can also move accounts to the new territory through the account quota grid or re route accounts using account-territory alignment file upload option.

To manage territories:

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Manage tab to open the manage version of the planning cycle.

  3. On the battle card canvas, select the battle card that you want to add territories to.

  4. Click the Territory quota tab on the data tray

  5. Click the Add Screenshot_2025-06-13_at_1_04_24_AM.png icon and then click Add territory row.

    Note

    Alternatively, you can use the Load territories option touopload a CSV file to upload multiple territories.

  6. Enter a Territory ID.

    Note

    The territory ID must be unique within the current planning cycle.

  7. Enter a Territory name.

  8. Select a territory group from the drop-down.

    Note

    Territory effective dates are limited to the date range effective for the selected territory group.

    Note

    Currently, territory rules can't be created in Manage mode. Move your accounts from the Account quota tab or use the account territory alignment file upload option.

  9. Click the Save icon.

You will be able to assign the new territory to your sellers and also move accounts into it.
