Reassigning accounts on the map (creating account overrides)

You can reassign accounts on the map to move them into other territories. This creates an override rule, meaning that your account moves to a territory it wouldn't normally be sorted into. For example, you could reassign a California-based account to your New York territory.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Territory view.

  3. On the battle card canvas, select a battle card.

  4. In the data tray, click the Territory definition tab.

  5. Switch the toggle from View grid to View map to open the map view.

  6. Select Account from the drop down menu on the top left corner of the map. This activates your pins on the map.

  7. Select the accounts to reassign on the map.

    Note

You can click clusters or zoom in to view individual accounts. You can also filter your accounts to show only override accounts or accounts that belong to a selected territory. See, Filtering customer accounts on the map.

  8. Do one of the following:

    • Right-click on the map, and click Reassign account(s).

    • Click Screenshot_2024-05-26_at_5_46_55_PM.pngReassign accounts(s).

  9. On the Reassign to existing territory dialog, select the territory where you want to reassign the accounts.

  10. Click Reassign.
