Allocating quotas per territory

Using the quota allocation tools in Varicent Sales Planning, you can easily allocate quotas from the top-down based on historical amounts. Alternatively, you can choose to import a quota file. Once you've allocated quotas to your territories, you can add quota adjustments to increase or decrease your quota values per territory.

The pills view on the Plan targets page shows a breakdown of the territory group types and territory groups contained within your battle card. Data displays on the pills that let you make decisions about your quota planning at a glance. Each pill displays the user name of the battle card owner, territory group type owner, or territory group owner. This gives you a breakdown of your organizational structure. The pills also display the total quota allocated to your battle card, territory group type, or territory group.

If you click a pill, you can see additional information in the Allocations pane, including any gaps between your business target and allocated quota.
