Adjusting quotas below territories

If you've set up quota breakdowns, you can make quota adjustments at a more granular level than territories. The options available vary depending which hierarchies you selected when setting up your quota breakdowns. For example, if you chose to breakdown quotas by Customer Accounts, then you can adjust quota for each customer account contained within your territory.

  1. On the Planning cycles home page, click the planning cycle to open.

  2. Click the Quota view.

  3. On the battle card canvas, select a battle card.

  4. On the data tray, click the Quota sheet tab.

  5. In the territory row where you want to adjust quotas, click the value in the Updated quota column.

The data tray shows your quota breakdowns, for example, it may show all customer accounts within the territory and the quota targets allocated to these accounts.

  6. Click the expand icon chevron--right.png next to the Quota Adjustment column.

  7. Enter an adjustment value for each period in the planning cycle. This adjusts the total allocated quota for the quota breakdown (be it an account, product, industry, or some other category used to define territories). The Updated Quota column updates to show the new quota amount. When you click back to the territory view, you can see the total quota adjustments made for the territory.

    Note

When you've set up quota breakdowns, you can't adjust quota at the territory level. You must click into the Updated quota value and make adjustments per quota breakdown.

  8. Enter a comment in the Comments column to explain the reason for your change.
